Conversations Across the Church
Have You Registered Yet? Conversations Across the Church – Nov. 30
Join Bishop Larry and the national officers of the ELCIC on Sunday, November 30 at 5:00 p.m. CST for Conversations Across the Church — an hour-long online gathering featuring worship, reflections from our ELCIC national church officers and a conversation with new ELCIC National Bishop Larry Kochendorfer. We hope you’ll plan to attend what we intend on becoming a regular church-wide online gathering.

Be a part of the conversation! When you register, please make sure to answer the following question on the registration form: If you could ask Bishop Larry one thing as he begins his new ministry as National Bishop, what would it be?
Can’t attend at that time? Be sure to register and receive a copy of the recording directly in your inbox following the recording.
**For those attending live: We encourage you to have a candle ready to light before the start of the event. We’ll take time at the beginning to light the candle together.

St. Peter’s Cambridge presents: A Christmas Carol
This year St. Peter’s Preston, dramatic reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will be held on Friday, December 5th @ 7:30 PM. 810 King St. E Cambridge.
I am extremely pleased to announce, our readers include; Linda Fabi (WRDSB Director of Education, ret’d), Dr. Michael Lawrie (Chair, Cambridge Symphony Orchestra), John Neufeld (Hallman Foundation), Bishop Michael Pryse (ELCIC Eastern Synod, ret’d), and Henry Walser (Henry Walser Funeral Home). The readers are listed in order by Stave. It is by coincidence only, but perhaps appropriate that Henry is reading Stave 5, the end. Mike Mann (WRPS Deputy Chief, ret’d) is our emcee.
Bradley Moggach, St. Peter’s Music Director will coordinate accompanying music (Piano, Percussion, Violin), with assistance fron Ann Green and Ronnie Smith.
A representative from the Cambridge Food Bank will attend to update everyone on the work they do in our community.
Everyone is invited to stay for Christmas refreshments from Rising Dough Scottish Bakery following the performance.
Please plan on listening to Mike Farwell on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10:30 am on 570 NewsRadio Kitchener. Mike will interview Mike (Michael Pryse) about this year’s reading of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
