Resumption of In-Person Worship Info Sessions

Posted: July 31, 2020 | Filed Under: COVID

Dear Friends,

A few days ago you should have received communication from the Task Force on the Resumption of In-Person Worship. This latest CHECKLIST is intended to gauge a congregation’s readiness to move from the RED to the AMBER stage of our TRI-PHASED APPROACH to resuming in-person gatherings. Thank you for your positive feedback, and for your expressed willingness to engage with this document in your own context!

As promised, and in a continued effort to support the work of congregations across the Synod, we have scheduled five virtual information sessions. It is our hope that these sessions will provide an opportunity to broaden the discussion, answer questions, strengthen connections, and share resources.

Pre-Registration is required, and is limited to one Rostered Minister and one Council Representative per congregation. To ensure a fruitful discussion, we have capped each gathering at 40 participants. Rest assured that we will be monitoring registration numbers, and additional sessions will be made available should the need arise.

The informal agenda will include general remarks from our Bishop, small group breakaway discussion as well as a larger group Q&A.
