Location: Mount Zion Lutheran Church 29 Westmount Rd. S Waterloo,

Dear Friends,

We hope you’ve been enjoying a beautiful summer! As September approaches, our sights are set on one of our most cherished traditions — the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre’s Annual Breakfast & Auction.

We are thrilled to invite you to join us on Thursday, October 2nd for our 10th anniversary celebration. Tickets are now available, and we can’t wait to welcome you.

Event Details
Mount Zion Lutheran Church – 29 Westmount Road South, Waterloo
Doors open at 7:00 a.m. | Breakfast served at 7:30 a.m. | Keynote to follow

This year, we are honoured to welcome Rev. Dr. Kristine Lund as our keynote speaker. Dr. Lund is the founder of the Delton Glebe Counselling Centre and former Clinical Director, Dean of Martin Luther University College, professor in the Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy program, and the Albert J. Datars Chair. She will be retiring from her many roles in April 2026.

Dr. Lund will share reflections on her journey to Luther, the vision that led to the creation of the Glebe, and her transition toward retirement — along with the legacy she leaves as we continue to advance our mission and vision.

Your attendance at this event directly supports the Glebe’s We Care Fund, which provides free or low-cost counselling to individuals who might otherwise be unable to access support. Every ticket purchased, every auction bid, and every gift helps ensure that compassionate, accessible care remains available to all who need it. This year our goal is to raise $10,000 from the event.

Come for the delicious breakfast, stay for the stories, inspiration, and community spirit that make this event so special.

Early Bird Ticket Pricing – Available Until September 20:

  • In-Person: $75 per person | Table of 8: $550
  • Online Presentation Access: $55 per person | Table of 8: $400

Regular Pricing – After September 20:

  • In-Person: $80 per person | Table of 8: $590
  • Online Presentation Access: $60 per person | Table of 8: $440

Reserve now → Click here to purchase your tickets online    or email us at glebecentre@wlu.ca to arrange payment by cheque, cash, or debit.

Through our We Care Initiative, we provide subsidized counselling for individuals, couples, and families, offering an average of $6,000 in support each year. This vital assistance is made possible by the generosity of our auction supporters.

This year’s auction features exciting items including tickets and gift certificates from The Waters Spa, Charcoal Restaurants, KW Escape, and more. Watch our website for the bidding launch — and remember, every dollar raised goes directly to the We Care Fund, helping ensure counselling remains accessible to those who need it most.

Join us in celebrating our 10th Annual Glebe Breakfast and Auction — we’re excited to share this milestone with you!

Regards

The Glebe Team
