The Bishop’s Table is an intentional extension and deepened inclusion of the Bishop’s Company. As we learn from our new hymn, it is better to build a longer table than a higher fence. With a full heart, I invite you and other cherished friends to come to the table on November 8th from 11am-2pm for nourishment, to be in each other’s company, for inspiration, and to receive a special gift and token of appreciation and connection.
Together with the benevolence and kindness of past donations from caring people like you, through the discretionary fund, we have brought help and hope to our neighbours when called to compassion. Gifts to this fund allow us to respond to urgent situations, and also act boldly and with confidence when our community is in need.
