Traditional liturgical elements, new compositions of organ and choral music, and aesthetic installation of light and electro-acoustic sound mapping
An evening of reflection, ashes, eucharist guided by the poem “Ash Wednesday” by T.S. Eliot
“Remember mortal that you are dust and to dust you will return.”
Original installation with projections and minimalist music will create a meditative atmosphere to reflect on the themes of Ash Wednesday.
Beginning 6 pm (doors open 5:45 p.m.), this installation allows you to come and go at will.
At intervals the poem "Ash Wednesday" by T. S. Eliot will be recited and brief reflections offered.
At 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. there will be the opportunity for the “Imposition of Ashes”
and at 7:30 p.m. a simple Eucharist will be celebrated.
The installation concludes with Night Prayer (Compline) at 9 pm.
