On Sunday May 26th, at 7:30 pm, the LEUPOLD CHORALE will host a FESTIVAL OF SCRIPTURE, CHORAL MUSIC, AND SONG, to celebrate the Easter season, the Feast of Pentecost, and the Festival of the Holy Trinity, in the KEFFER MEMORIAL CHAPEL of Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. The evening will feature choral music of Praetorius, Distler, Hassler, Luther, and Ahlen. Please join us to celebrate these festivals, to hear the Scriptures of the season, to sing festive hymns, and to enjoy the choral offerings of the Leupold Chorale. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the event.
Honouring the life and ministry of Ulrich Leupold, pastor, scholar, teacher, theologian, and musician, the Leupold Chorale strives to foster and preserve the performance of the early music of the Lutheran Church and the continental Reformation, the early music of other Christian traditions, and other sacred music of the Church which is rarely performed today.
