Zion is a very active congregation. In 2006 we celebrated the 100th Anniversary of our building and in 2008 we celebrated 125 years as a congregation. The people of Zion are hardworking and faithful. Generations of family members have called and still call this congregation home. We have regular Bible Study and Confirmation groups. We give thanks to God for all our blessings in at least two regular services of worship every week that include the Holy Communion. Our youth group is renowned across the Synod for its many monthly activities ranging from food drives, famine weekends, and successful fundraising efforts to attend the bienniel National Youth Events. In 2011 the congregation unveiled its new vision statement: "Celebrating God As We Serve Others". You can now follow us on Twitter @ZionLutheran.CA
