The congregations of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and St. David and St. Patrick's Anglican Church announced in 2017 that they had voted to accept a proposed merger agreement that would see a new church born to serve the people of Guelph. This result represents an innovative expression of the full communion relationship that began back in 2001 between the Anglican Church of Canada and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada. This newly merged congregation is named All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church. It seeks to be a welcoming Anglican-Lutheran community growing in active faith while striving to serve God through love, grace and outreach.
With God's grace, the faith community of All Saints Lutheran Anglican Church in Guelph, Ontario welcomes you. Our doors are open to people of any age, gender, race, colour and sexual orientation. We welcome people facing physical or mental challenges, those suffering under addictions, single people and those in any loving partnered relationship. Our doors are open to people of uncertain faith or deep faith, from any or no religious tradition. All are truly welcome.
Sunday morning services are held at 8:30 am and 10:00 am. The 8:30 service is a more traditional service taken from the Book of Common Prayer while the 10:30 service is one of a unique amalgamation of the Lutheran/ Anglican community. Communion is served at both services.
